Activity Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated candidate who is excellent at working with Seniors. The Activity Coordinator will work with the Memory Care Coordinator organizing activities for our residents – in and outside of the facility.

9AM-5:30PM Tuesday-Saturday

Responsibilities include:
Planning and implementing age appropriate activities for group and individual settings
Must be comfortable working with residents with Dementia and Brain injuries
Facilitate Resident Council Address and Resolve grievances in timely manner
Will work independently with little need for supervision.
Assist with meals and some ADL care
Complete activity assessments Manage salon and podiatric visits
Develop and implement programs that promote socialization, physical fitness, and mental stimulation
Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as necessary
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback
Transports residents to appointments and group activities
Must have clean driving record
Cross cover as needed
This position requires high energy, ability to multi task, organization, and time management skills.


Requirements include PPD, drug screen, criminal background check to work with the elderly, and physical. CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications: - Experience working with seniors or in a similar role is a plus - Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor

Resident Assistant

Seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

Provide care and supervision for residents.
Supervision and assistance with bathing, dressing, and other ADLs.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Help keep resident rooms neat and orderly.
Assist residents to meals and activities.
Respond to calls in a timely manner.
Report any concerns or changes in residents to supervisor immediately.
Documentation related in individualized service plans for residents by end of shift.


Qualifications:
CNA preferred. Experience in skilled nursing, hospital, or working with elderly is a plus. Must have reliable transportation. Must keep neat and well groomed appearance. Criminal background check required to work with the elderly. Current CPR/1st aid certification is a plus must have within 30 days of hire.
